Places to Eat BBQ Food?

Post by CLEGGZILLA »

Ok, I was in Leeds at the weekend, eating at Red's True BBQ, I was thinking, where is there to eat BBQ/ Smoked meat around the country?

Red's True BBQ - Leeds
Cockadoodlemoo - Stockport
Sothern 11 - Manchester
Pitt Cue - London
Grillstock - Bristol

Bodeans in London too - but alot of people don't rate it. I recall one of the newspapers did an article on London BBQ joints - i'm sure a google will bring it up.

Smoo's smokehouse in Swindon - Not quite operational YET, he is hoping to be in full swing in December. At the moment it is called Café Ambience and he serves pulled pork along side a normal café menu. It's next to the theatre in Swindon

A definite +1 to Bar-B-Q Shack at The Worlds End.

For more formal dining, I really enjoyed Barbecoa in London.

Red Dog in Hoxton square is the best that I have had (away from street vendors) in London - I posted a review in the reviews section with a ton of pics.
