Just recieved my Weber OTP- what grill grate.........

Just recieved my first OTP after months of deliberation.

Ordered a package is described the 57cm OTP including the Gourmet System Cooking Grates + the Sear Grate.

Am I right in thinking that being a package it should be the OTP with standard cooking grate plus the other Gourmet and Sear grates?

Hi Simon.

Looking at that I would expect to have the hinged cooking grate that comes with the OTP, the gourmet cooking grate (the one with the hole in) and the sear grate.

that was the way we read the description but it seems to be missing the hinged grate. Have emailed them about it so we'll see what they say!

Just to add my views it should have both, the standard grill is mentioned a couple of times and shown in pictures as well.

No reply to the email, so i've phoned them and it appears that the standard grate isn't included with the set just the sear grate and this is classed as the triple plated hinged grate.


Also spoke with Weber UK direct and they confirmed this for the product 1351999

to add to this, I've just had a call back, and bacause of how misleading the description is, they are sending me up another standard grate.

Is that from wowbbq or Weber? Either way its good to see proper customer service rather than misleading adverts.
