My wife hates that alarm especially at 3am

This is the year we do our garden so next winter I wont have any trouble Q'ing with the patio all done and a smoking area plus i'll have a force air system by then and hopefully a GMG Daniel Boone

You won't get away from alarms with the Daniel Boone, the low pellet alarm sound like a reversing refuse truck

That maybe true but it wont be upstairs beside our bed

Does the Daniel Boone pellet hopper when full not go through the night,7-8 hrs??

In theory it should manage it but there are the variables, pellet, outside temp and cooking temp. Some pellets burn hotter so last longer, if it's cold it will take more pellets to maintain temps and also maintaining the temp you cook at, the higher the temp the more it uses. There is a simple mod, make a cardboard tube and extend the hopper and increase capacity.. Pelletheads.com is the ultimate source for pellet cooking.

Have to save up first then justify it to the wife although she says its my money theres always that disapproving look

Here the disapproving looks have evolved into the "yes dear" and "of course dear" comments. But no complaints about the food

Strangely, that sounds extremely familiar!

Anyone else find it very hard to get a helping hand with pulling pork, but somehow the bowl magically gets emptier as you are trying to fill it?
