A little restoration job
Re: A little restoration job
East Midlands , Lincolnshire , looks crap all week tbh
Re: A little restoration job
Just south east from me it seems (Sheff). Yah boo sucks to the weather.
Re: A little restoration job
Couldn't wait any longer , had to fire her up today and season my smoker , smothered the inside with cooking oil a couple off chimneys of charcoal and a few lumps of well seasoned oak logs ,
Re: A little restoration job
Good man! A little rain isnt too bad for a cook anyway, wind is the real enemy. You can cook on your seasoning run, get some ribs on there or something!
Re: A little restoration job
I would but haven't got any temp control Atm , the gauge that was on it is knackered , waiting for my new . one to be delivered
Re: A little restoration job
Maverick is a worthy investment if you can stretch to it. Much better than a bimetal probe.
Re: A little restoration job
Mmmm looks tasty! Great work considering you had no temp gauge!

Re: A little restoration job
Those chickens have an amazing colour - anything added or just chuck them on?
Re: A little restoration job
I added a few oak logs about 2hrs in and that was it , it was only a test run really , just me being impatient
