Rib Nights

Post by hifigary »

Not sure if any Birmingham based people have been to Rib Nights yet? Two teams compete
against each other feeding 50+ people ribs, the crowd then blind vote for their favourite.

Great night out, they had a DJ, close up Magician, drinks - and great ribs.

Last night was Miss Piggy's BBQ against Pit Smoked BBQ - two awesome rib teams, both producing
incredible but totally different ribs (Miss Piggy's won).

Tickets sold out in 24 hours - round 3 coming soon, If you based near Birmingham it is worth trying
to get some tickets.

It was such a good night.

The plan is to take it to different places - Leicester is next I think...

The ribs were totally different, Miss Piggy's were cooked longer so they had less fat on them Pit Smoked
were much meatier and a more subtle flavour.

Bring on the brisket round - Backyard Brummies no doubt will be entering that one....
