I can get oil barrels for free

if I built a UDS id want a door on it to get to the coal basket, I don't like the idea of needing more mid cook and having to take everything apart

damn, the other day when I posted that link, the price for the 47 was £280 !

Jut looked now and the price has jumped to £339, it's the same wherever I look. Now either they're all monitoring each others sites (with software) and alter their prices to be in line with one another or there's something more sinister going on and the sites are recognising my interest via my IP address and hiking it accordingly. I'm going to clear my cookies, turn on the VPN and try again.

****update**** I'm paranoid. The price has indeed gone up £40 since this morning, changing my IP address and deleting cookies didn't alter this and neither did checking via my phone avoiding the wi-fi. Should have bought this morning!

****update 2**** Just called Riverside Garden Centre and they kindly offered to honour the price I saw this morning, apparently the prices changed last night. My new WSM 47 is being delivered on Tuesday!!!

Well done Dinlo. It does seem that prices for WSM's do jump about a bit so if you see a good deal it pays to go for it when you see it. It took me nearly two years to make the decision to go for mine and when I was buying a few weeks ago there weren't the same deals there are at the moment although I did get some discount. I'm happy with that as you can't win them all.

wsm's are a great bbq & they are fun to cook with, & I mean fun! but in saying that if I could rewind the clock 3 years ago! Instead of buying a weber kettle & a weber 320Q & the smokey mountain! I would of brought a yoder pellet smoker! but thats how the bbq bug starts!

The stackers on the Pro-Q are both an advantage and disadvantage. Advantage is they provide the versatility - disadvantage is that it provides more places for air to leak in.

If you are looking for a Weber One Touch - Costco have them too. from memory the price was in the low 100's - though I don't recall the exact price.

Best time to buy is in September - a few years ago I posted a deal where B&Q were selling Weber One Touches off for 50 pounds (though they were the 'Ivory' colour). Great deals are available.

I was in the Watford Costco yesterday and they still had some of the Weber One Touch Original 57 for £99.99 (+vat = £119.98) which does seems a good price. However folks may prefer the premium version.

Are the frontiers any good, don't think I'd need anything bigger tbh and they are under £200

I don't really want to pay £340 for a Weber if the ProQ is good enough and nearly half the price, a few days ago the Weber was only £280 at a few places.

You won't need to replace the fire mid cook in a 55 gallon UDS. My fire will burn for 25-30 hours plus easily. One reason I love my UDS so much is that it's really quite an efficient cooker.
