Where to buy smoker wood?

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome to the site, any ideas where we can buy chunks (not chips) of various smoking wood, also any ive read about better quality fuel lasting longer and maintaining better heat, any ideas which fuels are best?

I bought some wood from Paul last month and can't recommend him enough. It arrived within a few days (he even sent it before I'd paid!) and I was very pleased with it. Decent sized chunks with some big for longer smokes and some smaller chunks for shorter ones. None that are going to fall through the grating though.

I have found this site good. http://www.smokewoodshack.com I normally receive my wood within a few days, hope this helps. I ordered 10 bags of restaurant grade charcoal and arranged to pick it up to save p&p.
