wsm design

Post by aldo »

Had My wsm over a week now.just opened it Up to find a lot of water in bottom below charcoal grate.the cause of rain leaking in at lid.why have Weber not got a weep hole in bottom.
So you need to have a cover over it when wet. I have read this is a issue.what's the point if you can't display it.
Disappointed

Mine has sat outside uncovered in all weather for the last 4 years and still looks fine. I don't use the cover for the WSM as i found it grows mould really quickly if using it.

Yes the bottom fills with water, but it's easy enough to pour the water away before loading it up with charcoal.
