Taking The Plunge
Taking The Plunge
Hey All
As a few of you may know, a while back I turned this all consuming hobby into a small side venture, catering for friends parties. This always seemed to go down well and we have expanded slowly taking in beer festivals, weddings and charity fund raisers along the way.
Well I'm now very happy to announce that I'm able to go full time.
One of our regular pub venues is taking on another site and have asked me to run the kitchen with full control over the menu. I'll be bringing proper BBQ cooking to Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs.
I took voluntary redundancy at work and am throwing all I've got in with this, so fingers, toes and everything else crossed.
I just wanted to thank the people on here for the advice they've given and also Toby for all his hard work, especially in the courses he organises. The Harry Soo course was a turning point for me.
Thanks
Nick

Good luck!
What's the Harry Soo course all about? Does he come the UK?
I'll scout around on the internet to see what info I can find. I would love to do this.
Sorry off-topic.
