Wood?

Wood?

Post by mcdodge »

I've just finished off the bag of Weber Apple wood I got when I purchased the WSM.

Nowhere locally supplies any woods in terms of garden centres, I've checked - much to the wifes annoyance!

Where would be a good place on line? Any recommended brands or links?

Yeah, I spotted that site when I was first looking around.

How many smokes would the 25 oak blocks do me, roughly?

All my wood comes from Paul, I normally use a block of oak and a block of cherry for a long cook. I'll split blocks for shorter cooks.

Everyone will have a different take on this, but I never use more than 1 - 2 blocks per cook.
