Where do I get these pizza pans? A link would be grand! Tar!YetiDave wrote:Nah, I never found water made any difference. I just have a pizza pan set up as a heat diffuser above the charcoal basketdangerousdowning wrote:do you put a bowl of water in that too? There are plenty of guides out there for building them. I made do with a drum, a 56cm kettle BBQ, a washing machine basket, a River Country thermometer, stove rope and a bunch of nuts and bolts. It kicks the crap out of my Pro Q for temp stability and fuel economy

Just take a look on ebay
couldn't find the exact one I bought but it's just the largest one I could find
Re: new BBQ/smoker purchase
I'm assuming it's stone or similar... Will have a gander. Guess I need to measure up so I get the right size. Would I use it on the brackets where the water pan rests in the wsm?

Honestly mate, the water pan will be doing a better job than a pizza pan could
If you want to bolster it a bit, then a pizza stone in the bottom could work. Either that or some sand

OK, so looking into it, I'm gonna need to by a new large BBQ to replace my one that's knackered (ticking all my requirement boxes).
Then look to a dedicated smoker or either the WSM, proq excel 20 or attempt to make one.......
