Hi all,
Don't know if you will be able to help, but I got given a bunch of wood from someone at work. He doesn't know what type of wood this is. Its a long shot but could you guys have a look at my wood and tell me what it is? And if its good for smoking.

Well I cooked with it. Used it for pulled pork. Tasted nice wasn't bitter. Tested like a really mild smoke lighter than cherry. Was good

The wood you have fhere is Ash, as you say it is mild smoking wood.
