How often do you do a smoke?

Post by some bloke »

I have probably cooked on my kettle every 2 weeks on average since I got it last August - I'd smoke more but the time it takes means I generally just do it at weekends. I like to keep going over the winter as well. What about the rest of you?

Probably similar. I tend to use my WSM for cold smoking as well so often use it after a successful fishing outing

Whenever I get pestered for Pulled Pork, the pestering can be from work mates, the missus or my belly :D

This time of year once a week as I cook my lunches for work on a Sunday, will normally do something grilled on a Saturday but not every week.

At least once to twice per week, come rain, snow or sunshine.

Yeah, I get a hankering for ribs quite often, but other commitments and activities mean I can't always do them when I want. I am heading back to NZ next month (assuming the Home Office decides to return my passport :x ) and my brother has a loan of a gas-fired smoker for the whole time I'll be there, so I hope to spend a lot of time introducing the family to the joys of low n slow cooking.
