smoking in the snow...any tips?

Got my pro q frontier for Christmas...and I want to use it ASAP. As you all know it's cold and snowy and was wondering if anyone had any tips for smoking a brisket in the snow.

If you put your beer in the snow it gets cold which can be a good thing or a bad thing. Or a popsicle.
