Went on first thing @ 240 F, and boosted it up to 400 at 145F internal. Cooked at 165 F. Having done similar a couple of years back on my old 3-way controller Traeger, this cook was simplicity itself.

Because my GMG Davy Crockett is brand new (I bought it as a present for myself, and so far has only been burned in, and grilled 4 burgers), I didn't want to rely on it for my Christmas lunch. So I have a stuffed turkey leg joint in the oven, cooking; while I smoked a turkey crown on my new toy.

Looks nice Chris, If I'd been at home Xmas morning (instead of at work) I could have stuck my head out of the door and smelled it, looks very nice by the way

Have a sniff now. I have two pork shoulders in there, smoking them for tomorrow.

Can't smell a ruddy thing today, blocked nose (head cold)!
