I did the now traditional New Years Eve Ribeye steaks for the family, all done before the rain came in.

I had just lit the chimney starter as was doing a gammon for New Years Eve when a bottle of walnut oil jumped off the shelf. My good lady had just finished cleaning it up and was tying off the bag that held the glass when a bit pierced the bag and sliced her wrist really badly. Off to A&E where we spent a lovely afternoon while they sorted her out. Just missed tendons etc so should recover fast, but very scary.
Anyway, got home and our water was off.....needless to say party cancelled  but thank goodness my lovely long suffering wife is fine :D
Busy doing the gammon this afternoon instead.
