First Ribs

Post by Alice's Restaurant »

Hello Forum

Kelvin and I cooked our first ribs today -- very nice too. Now we've had our first go at all the main things: chicken, brisket, pulled pork and ribs. We're having a great time.

Photo below -- shows first rib with cheeky bite taken out of it -- my fault :P

Looking good. The fun is the most important part!

Nice pic.

They look awesome!

Did you use the 3-2-1 method?

It's not a cheeky bite, it's quality control!

Thanks Adie and LM. No, we didn't use the 3-2-1 method. We dry rubbed them, smoked for 4 hours (flipping them once) and sauced them with a further 20 minutes cook after that. Grate temp about 200F but I increased to 250F after saucing.

Looking good, I think you need to send a sample this way for "quality control"
