Following up on a tip on this site I went to th Ocado website and found Big K restaurant grade charcoal. It is on special offer. I got 2 15kg boxes for 29.98. Yesterday I saw the same thing but in a proper retail bag for £29.99 each.

Just a heads up The Range have 4kg bags of Heat beads at £6.99; just in there this morning. They have Big K lumpwood on cheap but its not restaurant grade.

I usually get mt Heat Beads from WOWBBQ as they usually appear to be the cheapest. They currently have the 4Kg bag for £6.15.

The 4Kg bags are the only size now being imported - so if you see any 7Kg bags make the most of them as there will be no more.

What about P & P Wade? do WOW charge much as the Range is on my doorstep.

I usually buy it in lots of 10 bags. If you buy it in quantities of 5 bags or more the shipping is free.

Just bought heat beads from Garden4less @£6.49/ bag. Free delivery over £25 so 5 bags worked out cheaper than wow as their delivery charge is quite steep.

It is all about minimum order value for free shipping. If you had bought 6 bags then WOW would have worked out the cheapest again. I think WOW must have recently put up their minimum value for free shipping.
