Wow, a business that listens to customers. that's a novel idea. Lol.

Good idea though. Although I guess you'd be back up to silly price by the time they add their bit.
Not really - their prices are very reasonable. And yes, I was taken aback when the chap I emailed said it was a good idea, and 3 days later he emailed me pictures of three samples he got from his meat supplier and asked me which one I thought was best.
Wow.

H Smith only seem to have the meaty belly ribs on their web page - not the meaty baby backs which Meatpacks sell.

Ive only used the Booker ones

I was at Costco and noted they gave american pork now. I only saw loins, but maybe there are plans for different cuts.

Yep I ordered a box of T & G Breast ribs, picture showed a lovely trimmed rib and 2 choices. I went for the bigger box at 2.5KG and got 1 rack of ribs for 20 quid  !

Hi Kiska, I ordered these too the other week and was slightly disappointed at the fact it was one rack. However they left a lot of meat on top of the rib which was great. I cooked it on Saturday and started it at 1330 at 225f but it still wasn't ready at 2100. Will have to allow 12 hours for the next one.

No complaints about the meat but I could have bought a full belly, ribs included for that price. Had they been 3 or 4 ribs I would have been fine

Well you pay per kilo so you just get the weight in 1 rack surly? Just cut it up into 2 or 3 rib sections.

I have to say though I do like whole bellys and cut your own. I use the trim for beans. Mmmm.

Its Ok to cut up but when you have guests and you think you are getting 2.5 kilos of trimmed ribs its a bit disappointed to just get one.

Makro do full bellies fro £17 to £18
