Re: Fire lighter
Soak kitchen towel in veg oil. Works well.
Re: Fire lighter
1 weber fire lighter cube (or any other brand) lit on the fire grate, 2 pieces of rolled up newspaper in bottom of chimney, put chimney on top of fire lighter and this has worked perfect for me every time
Re: Fire lighter
Stick the chimney on a cheap Campingaz stove for 10 minutes
Re: Fire lighter
Blow torch with 4 tins of gas from Amazon. Best thing i've ever bought...no more stinky fuel and the gas last ages.

Re: Fire lighter
Tried those flamers and they are awesome. Just need one under the chimney and everything is going really quickly with hardly any smoke or smell.
Re: Fire lighter
Never use lighter cubes or Fuel!

Re: Fire lighter
The flamers are natural, just wood shavings soaked in a wax. Then the flame produced is what ignites the coal so no direct contact. This is no different to burning paper or hydrocarbon gases etc such as camping stoves.
Re: Fire lighter
Thats fair enough but he did say "fire lighter cube (]or any other brand)"
