Jumbuck spit roast - worth it?

Post by Bigpikle »

I've found a little stock of one of these so just wondering if its worth a go? I have a Weber kettle and WSM, and was thinking of adding a rotisserie to the kettle anyway. The Jumbuck would save about £120 on that but without the ability to use a lid. birthday in a week so have been given the green light if its worth it?

I know lots have been bought by people here so am interested in a little feedback please. Can you get longer skewers for them so you can do big kebabs etc?

Thanks for any suggestions.

8 left in Homebase Oxford - big pile of them boxed up with all their BBQ stuff.

There were 9 but I paid them a little visit earlier

Just got to work out what to cook first but I'm not allowed it until its my actual birthday!

For £40 you can't go wrong to be honest. I got a set of 60cm tandoori skewers from amazon to go with mine for a tenner but you can also get kebab rotisserie and basket attachments. They are good fun and make a good fire pit when you're done cooking.
