Mop for ribs
Re: Mop for ribs
If you could put a mop on the end of a turkey baster, how would that work out?

Re: Mop for ribs
Got no mop? No problem! Take a leek [no, stay out of the bathroom! I mean the vegetable!] and score it many times at one end about 1-2 " long creating the mop. When you place the ''brush'' end of your leek into your hot mopping sauce the leaves soften and voila, one edible. biodegradable, disposable mop that doesn't leave hairs or bristles on your food.

8 tbl tomatoe ketchup

1/2 tbl chinese 5-spice powder
Re: Mop for ribs
here's a chinese sauce (gravey) for ribs or steak I've used. It's best just poured over the cooked meat.
serves 1
1teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
2tablespoon of beef gravey powder
1/2 pint of water
1 tablespoon of soya sauce
1/4 teaspoon of chinese 5 spice
1 teaspoon of sugar
pince of white pepper
You can stir fry sliced onion and mushrooms and add to the sauce.
