Ordering our (well my) new addition to the family tomorrow

Feel free to ask any questions, one of the experts will certainly respond, don't be afraid to ask anything, we were all beginners at some point.

Ordering our (well my) new addition to the family tomorrow

Post by Curlie028 »

Happy birthday to me :)

The Boss cooked me a great steak tonight and I opened one of those, "I'll save that bottle for a special occasion" bottles of wine.

Meal was going well, so I dropped in the 47cm WSM and a few basic accessories. The boys knew all about my plans and committed to money support, as presents and ............................. The Boss ............... she say YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!

Ordering tomorrow first thing, before I get caught up in indecision again, along with a Chimney Starter, Rib Rack, Maverick, Thermapen and a pair of Gauntlets.

Result!

Nice one! So after ordering it's a trip to the butchers to get your cuts ordered for a Friday collection. You can get her all burnt off and seasoned with a few chicken halves Friday ready for a pork extravaganza on Saturday!

Looking forward to the pics of your baptism of fire.

Excellent decision on the WSM you won't regret it. What's first on the cook list, chicken? Any first use tips just let us know.

That's my baby ordered and expecting delivery on Friday.

Charles was a gentleman.

Think I'll position lookouts for the delivery van on Thursday morning, just in case :D

Glad I posted those lookouts this morning.

My baby has arrived.

Southampton to Lisburn in 16 hours.

10 out of 10 to Socal and Parcelforce.

But sh1t, I'm not ready.

Away to find the camera and then I'm setting the beauty up.

Thinking chicken and a big of pork ribs the boss bought this morning.

Anyway, pics will follow and I'll will need a little advice on how to prep and cook the ribs but let me get you a pick of their size first.
