Gas leak - help / advice needed

Post by wagonface »

Morning,

I have a gas BBQ in addition to my proq frontier. Recently the gas bbq has drained two 13kg bottles in the space of a week.

I have sprayed soapy water everywhere that I can get to, including the regulator and hose. I removed the front panel and sprayed all the individual burner valves. But I can't see any bubbles forming. I can't smell it leaking from anywhere either. I'm at a bit of a loss what to do next. Does anyone have any advice? I use both BBQs all the time and really need the gas one for midweek stuff.

Thanks for any help.

I had a similar issue with my gas. It must have had a slow leak, and even with different bottles.
In the end I just detached the attachment after every us. Not a problem now as a very rarely use it. Good luck.
