Who likes these horrible serrated things? every pub, grill and Restaurant i go to seem to think you need one. If anyone needs to use a serrated knife to cut a peice of meat their paying £10+ for then send it back coz it's over cooked and not worth eating. Sorry for the silly rant I'm all calm again

Fully agree with you. A food writer used to tour steakhouses with a set of scales and a butter knife, checking weight and tenderness. I believe it was in the US but not sure. It may even be an urban myth
