Cracked base, Big Green Egg

Pizza cook last Saturday left me with a sinking sensation as about 5mins from completion I heard a loud clunk from my egg, quick scout round and I found my base had cracked just under the bottom vent, this goes through to the bottom and toward the back. Gutted, I disassembled and took pictures a quick phone call and email and BGE UK are sending a replacement this week. Yay! I am now a believer, it's reassuring to know that some companies really do stand behind their product. It seems that as usual I get the odd one but no fuss was made and it's made me so glad I went with BGE, other than the obvious awesome food it puts out with minimum effort.
