Mouldy Wood Chips

Post by philnewts »

Hi

I recently purchased a bunch of wood chips at a decent price from eBay but upon receiving them they were mouldy and smelt of damp. The seller was decent and refunded the payment and said I could keep the chips. I am not sure if they will be ok to use as I was going to toss them out otherwise?

Any thoughts  ?

Toss em ... if they smell wrong there is a risk that they will put that flavour onto your food!! If you have an open fire at home, burn them on that, or use them on the bonfire!! :D
