To UDS or not to UDS...........

Feel free to ask any questions, one of the experts will certainly respond, don't be afraid to ask anything, we were all beginners at some point.

To UDS or not to UDS...........

Post by simong1010 »

Since joining here and reading through the forums, I have been toying with the idea of building a UDS.

Now........... I live on a reletively new estate where the builders still have a bit of an area where they dump stuff. The only thing is I haven't seen anybody in there for weeks but all their stuff is still in it.

Just been passed today and there is 8 or 9 drums that have recently been added in just sitting ther.Aa few are dented but a couple look like they are ok.

As I haven't seen anybody there I've not been able to A: Ask if it is ok to take one off of their hands and B: find out what was in them before hand

Do you reckon it would it be worth going for one of them?

Just ensure they are waste and for disposal before you "obtain" one, you might also ask about any pallette they want to get rid of for the burn out, if needed.

I would suggest trying elsewhere for one that has less "stubborn" residue.
