Well, didn't know where else to put this one ... not really a vegetable but great for everyone to share ... vegetarian or carnivore!!
1lb Walnut halves
2oz butter
2oz brown sugar
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh Rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
In a large pan, melt the butter and sugar together, add the rosemary, salt and garlic powder until blended and bubbling, throw in the walnuts and stir gently until they are coated with the mixture.
Place coated nuts into a large shallow pan and put into your smoker on a low heat for 1 hour.
Allow to cool (if you can wait that long) before serving ... store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
Subline Smoked Walnuts - Great for Carnivores Too !!!
