Hey from Sheffield!

Hi I'm a new guy from Sheffield.

Not new to bbq but new to smoking. Really want to get into it.

My real name is Lee, feel free to just call me that instead. The madbeef thing is just a nickname, apparently someone already has the username Lee.

I'm a general metalwork engineer by trade but absolutely love cooking and bbq in my spare time. No gas, charcoal all the way for me.

Recently built myself a smoker and also talked to Paul Goulden about procuring some wood for it and he said you guys would love the build and recommended the forums so here I am!

Thanks to Jams, chokka and JEC for the welcome too. Again, I did say cheers somewhere but those posts haven't showed up for some reason. Although I don't seem to be having problems posting today.

That's a link to another forum btw, so no idea if that's the reason my posts haven't showed up. Do I need permission from an admin?

Just thought it easier to link my existing build thread as restrictions on pictures etc here seem really tight and everything is already there in order and uploaded and formatted etc.
