What to do with....

Post by PDC7 »

Ok you wonderful folks, after checking out what those weird things in the freezer are, I've discovered I have a turkey crown, whole lamb leg, gammon shank and 5 variously sized roasting/topside/silverside pieces of beef, does anyone have any suggestions for these items? I would like to cook on my BBQ and really need to get rid of the beef!!!! What would you do?

For some of the beef cook it indirect with or without smoke (by which i mean with smoke) to medium rare to medium and slice it real thin for sandwiches/lunches.

Turkey crown, brine it and smoke it to 165F, should stay nice and moist.

Roast the leg of lamb with Oak, garlic and rosemary at around 350 or a nice Moroccan rub, as above for the beef and turkey. If you're cooking it all together you'd better get the invites out quickly for us all to come round
