I have gotten round to sorting out some pics to show here, so here goes:

Now I have a good BBQ and thermometer I am more than happy to cook form fresh on the grill, BBQ chicken is far better than oven cooked!!

How was the bacon weave, possibly one of the major cooks I've never bothered with

For me making the weave was more fun than eating it, between the rub, sauce, cheese, peppers, spicy sausage meat and bacon there was far too many flavours, I picked poorly and ended up with contrasting flavours, were I to do it again, I'd use no rub, only lightly glaze the outside in bbq sauce and for the filling, I'd reduce down some passata with garlic powder, possibly cumin and celery salt till it was thick then put that in the middle with a chunk of cheese, I think that would be better matched flavours
