Grill Recommendations

Post by noxskuses »

A friend of my wife wants to start cooking low & slow and has asked what grill to get.

I'm going to recommend a GMG pellet grill to him as I love mine, and a WSW 57cm if he wants to go down the charcoal route.

Anything else that is worth recommending?

I suspect part of the answer depends on the budget.

Lots of people seem to like the ProQ smokers.

What are those solid looking box like smokers I remember a few people on here raving about?

That's exactly what I was thinking of! Many thanks.

Isn't Ed from Bunch of Swines selling these in the UK or am I imagining that?

Does anyone know how much a Chubby costs and where you can buy them from here in the UK?

Spend £100 more and get a medium Big Green Egg would be my advice.

Nice kit, but medium is too small and large is too expensive.

If he's only cooking for a few people, the the GMG Davy Crockett with wifi controller is coming to the UK soon.
