Wagyu brisket

Just had a price on wagyu brisket, £14/kg, anyone know how this price compares? Closest one i could find is £20/kg. My usual price is £4/kg on brisket from my butcher but wanted to try some wagyu

£4 a kilo for brisket? Wow that's cheap. I never could understand the price of it normally. It's supposed to be a tough cheap cut as I understood it. Shame most butchers don't know that. Where is that from?

thats ok but all depends on the grade, the wagyu over here doesnt compare to other countries. I would recommend the Aussie Grain fed every time. Always get fantastic results from them.

'We are targeting MB 4-6. The first grassfed steaks have been 6+ so well chuffed' was their reply. Can someone explain it please because i thought the classes are S,E,U,R,O,P and 1-5?

Ah its on Australian system of 1-12 where 7 and above is probably grain fed
