Looking for buying advice please

Post by mattbrx »

Hi,
First time poster - but long-time eater :)
I'm looking to build my own grill in my garden, and really love the sturdy look and the usability of the Braten Campfire, Argentinine type grill - but I can't find anything similar for sale in the UK.
Hopefully the picture has posted, but if not, here's the link:
http://grillsandcookers.com/products/campfire-braten-argentine
and I'll be looking to build it in to a brick surround, so that he bricks come up about halfway to the sides and the back.
Ta :)

Thanks and never mind. I think I may have to try some local fabricators, but i've got a horrible feeling that both arms and legs will need to be sold to pay for it :(

I realise it's not exactly what you're looking for, but have you considered something like this? http://www.landmann.co.uk/charcoal-bbqs ... ecues.html

Google 'libatherm' - it is a German brand and they make something similar to this, but round. Very sturdy stuff as you can imagine :) I saw one version which was about 2m across at the Christmas market in Birmingham last year. It had a hoist do you could lift it to alter temperature and add coals etc.
