Hi,
I've been checking out the PizzaKettle, great idea and I really fancy one. What I don't fancy doing is spending £130 on the "pizzakettle" / weber branded one! I've been poking around for something a little more reasonable but thus far no luck. Ebay sells a kettle with the attachment for about £50 but I don't have the space for another BBQ. I've seen a few DIY guides, knowing me I'll end up losing a finger.

If you buy a cheap one you might risk the stone cracking and a new stone would be fortunes you can bet. At least with a weber one you'd have good back up and guarantee.

Your right of course, I just can't justify £130 for crispy Pizza's!
Since I've not been in the BBQ game long (start of the summer) do these tend to get cheaper during the winter? I've already seen my one touch original drop to £70 (since paying £120 something) I'm hoping the accessories go down too!

My experience is that the Weber accessories never seem to move much in price, its the actually BBQ units that drop in cost

I've seen a few good reviews but they are all using gas bbq's! I wondered if you could get the kettle hot enough for these to reach temp.
I've thought about using wood in the kettle with charcoal to get it roasting hot, I assume that's ok right?

Went through all of that palava but in the end just pulled the trigger on a Uuni 2 pizza oven!

How is the Uuni oven? Looks great for under £200...although I noticed it doesn't have a pizza stone? Does it make a difference? I wondered if it was expensive to run with the pellets.

Does a good job!
not too bad on pellets and has an aluminium "stone" for the pizza.

Does it come with pellets - and what kind does it use? Do you have to use special uuni pellets?
