Greetings from an Aussie in Kent

Post by mrjack »

Afternoon all,

I've recently relocated from Australia and am now proud to call the UK home. Now that I'm starting to get settled, and with such an excellent spring on the cards, it's time for me to get back into some bbq action.

At the height of my bbq activity I had a Weber Q320, an old but reliable Weber Kettle and a GMG Daniel Boone pellet smoker. I wouldn't regard myself as having particular expertise in any of them.. you could just call me enthusiastic. I've had some decent cooks and miserable failures on all three. :) :)

I look forward to exploring the forum, hopefully it's an active one, and to sharing a few stories along the way.
First job... what BBQs to get over here... but I'll find the appropriate thread to discuss that.

Cheers everyone..

Hi and welcome.

I think we've all had disasters on the way, and still do get sometimes. Especially when experimenting!

I have a weber otp, uds, gmg db and a cheapo gas grill.

People have all sorts. Offsets, cabinets, eggs, etc.
