Hi everyone
we have got the smoker ready and rubbed 4 whole chickens, we set up our new Maverick ET 732 BUT the bbq probe continuosly shows LLL*F - we have tried re-syncing it but same thing happens
Any help greatly appreciated

I hate those things. is there a reset button? remove batteries.....all I can think off

Hi clare,
Have you got this sorted. Usually the LLL means that the probe is reading a temerature below what it's capable of reporting or he probe is damaged. Let me know how you get on. Try the other probe in the same port just to test.

still no luck with this, we changed the probes over and still no joy, i even put the probe on the radiator!!

we have removed batteries, changed probes over etc it is "finding" the probes because it is picking up the food probe temp - are we just being dumb

it is defo the probe as we swapped them over and when the bbq probe was put in the food hole it changed the position of the LLL*F up to food on the receiver

I doubt it Clare, does the probe that works provide you with a reading when plugged into the BBQ port and the food port?
If so then it would lead me to believe you have a rogue probe.

Yes the food probe gives a reading in both ports
On a plus side our 4 birds smell great
