Excellent stuff.
A little while ago, a friend told me a snippet that I found interesting (probably old news to many), that the original Weber company manufactured - amongst other things - navigation buoys. One of the owners had the idea of splitting a buoy open and fashioning a grill out of it. It proved so popular, that grill manufacturing soon took over the whole company.
