Alternatively, you could buy the ET-732, quoted range is 300ft / 90m. I have tested to 50m through my house and it was still pumping the numbers through. Obviously its more cash, but its other little sweetness is an external off/on button which is waterproof.

Thanks for this. As range has become an issue for me since moving my grill location, I may well give this a try.
