I just bought a kelly Bronze for Christmas and i don't have the confidense to smoke it. Too expensive to muck up.....

My wife as similar qualms. I tod her that if worse comes to worse, we stick it in the oven.

Yep we got an offer courtesy of my boss so we've bottled it and gone Bronze (and oven :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: )......still getting an Aldi one for a New Year smoke....

Yes I remember those days when, as a trainee butcher, I went with the boss to see hundreds/thousands of Christmas dinners running around the fields.....proper free range. Only problem you had to take some of all sizes from 10Lb to 28Lb + old Toms :shock: Guess who was eating Turkey forever after Christmas. Then of course there were ways around getting lumbered with one, some desperate customer would always turn up, late on Christmas Eve for a turkey :lol: :lol: :lol:
