Snake method

Post by tomm156 »

Hello, thinking of using the snake method to slow cook a pork shoulder this week, I use big k briquettes at the moment, as it burns round is it likely to taint the mean because of the fresh briquettes lighting? Like the IDE of it but don't want to ruin my pork!! Advise will be greatly appreciated, thanks all

The snake & Minion methods have been around for years without any problems, just avoid the really cheap briquettes.

As long as they're not easy lighting ones you'll be fine, unless of course you like the taste of lighter fluid
