Will definitely be going again to the Bristol one next year, it was amazing this year so can't wait to go again!

I've foiled with it I haven't injected it, if anyone has it would be Simon. I've never had enough of the cider to "waste" on a butt :D

I can't believe it, I was planning on going to BRistol for the weekend and it's the only weekend I have someting booked :(

Maybe time to find a replacement weekend away.

It's my pork butt injecting liquid of choice along with some L&P and JD.

Sweet cider is best IMHO.

Traditional Cyder makes a great injection for Pork and is a good spritz and foiling juice IMHO. Also fantastic for thinning sauces.
Best of both worlds, get to eat it and drink it

I'm thinking you need to run a Cyder making class as well! :) Or at least make an ebook on it! Do you have a bought apple press or one you've made?

Hey guys,

has anyone else entered Grillstock, and heard anything back?

ibe tried emailing last couple of months to try and get confirmation, but not heard anything.

They sent out invoices to teams in November which had to be paid in December for both Bristol & Manchester so if you've not heard anything or had an invoice i'd guess you've not got in this year or on a waiting list.

Grillstock fills up quick, most of the spaces had already been booked before they even announced it.

Hi Ed,

Sorry i should have stated - I had an invoice in november and paid it and sent off the form during November.

I've been emailing since to try and get a confirmation that both were received.

Anyone recommend a good/cheapish place to stay for Grillstock Bristol. Also is the Friday night any good ??
