Hi All
I have just finished building my mini cajun microwave, and wonderd if any members have experience cooking on these?
This one is big enough to cook 3 chickens at one time or 2 large pieces of pork.
I put up a post of how I built it in the wood fired section, and there are some pics on my facebook page.
I am going to try a lump of pork injected with cider and lime juice and then rubbed with some Stubbs for my first go, not sure about timings just gonna wing it!

Cooking on a Cajun Microwave
Re: Cooking on a Cajun Microwave
Looks good Simon. I've seen the ones made by http://www.lacajachina.com/ - and they work well for a whole suckling pig. Check out the cooking instructions on their web page.
There are some how-to videos on YouTube too.

Hi Simon, bearing in mind the thickness of the farmhouse's walls just how loud is the "ding" on the microwave
Looks good, I can still see some grass in the fields so plenty of room to build more cookers

Damn, these things cook fast!!
Will use a lot less charcoal next time!!!
3/4 of an hour in and the pork needs turning!

PS taking photos as we speak.
